The reverse design features the kookaburra settled on a gum‐tree branch, with decorative gum leaves and seedpods, along with inscriptions of weight, purity, and the “P” mint mark. On the obverse, the coin bears the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the denominational value (AUD $1).

The reverse depicts the kookaburra perched quietly on a branch, highlighted by decorative elements like gum leaves and seedpods, all within an elegant composition. Surrounding the design are inscriptions of AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA, the year “2021,” weight and purity, and the P mint mark.

The obverse features the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the denomination (AUD $1), and standard inscriptions. 

The coin is struck in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) finish, with high quality detail and contrast between frosted and mirrored elements.
